I love the power of focus. Have you ever noticed that when you start looking for something—like red cars—you suddenly see them everywhere? It’s not that there are more red cars than other colors. Your brain is simply tuned to notice them. In psychology, this is called the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon or frequency illusion.

Now, think about your goals and desires:
• If you wish to get a higher salary, are you actively focusing on ways to achieve it? Are you noticing opportunities to learn new skills, network, or ask for a raise?
• If you want to feel more appreciated, did you notice the compliment your coworker gave you today, or did you brush it off?
• If you want to live a healthier life, are you focusing on small, meaningful changes—like drinking more water, adding more vegetables to your meals, or taking a short walk?

What you choose to focus on shapes your reality—but only if you put in the work.
